Commercial Roofing

Restoration GC provides first-class commercial roofing services for property owners. Below is a brief overview of common commercial roofing options.

TPO membranes are environmentally friendly (resisting ultraviolet, ozone and chemical exposure levels in significant amounts), and their flexibility makes them highly durable and resistant to punctures.

TPO roofs haven’t been around too long, but are gaining popularity in new construction as the replacement roof of choice.

PVC roofing systems are known to be extremely durable, fire-resistant, highly resistant to punctures, dirt, and debris.

PVC systems are waterproof and they are commonly used in “green” roofing settings, where greenery is incorporated into the roof’s landscape.

PVC is an extremely flexible material that is good for use on nearly any shape of roof and is virtually maintenance free.

EPDM is an extremely durable synthetic rubber roofing membrane commonly used in low-sloped commercial buildings.

EPDM systems are completely water-proof and will not in any way pollute the rainwater runoff.

[dsm_card title=”SBS-Modified Roofing (Styrene Butadiene Styrene)” image=”https://restorationgc.net/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/sbs-modified-roof-320×240-1.jpg” badge_text=”MOD BIT ROOFING” button_url_new_window=”1″ _builder_version=”4.14.7″ _module_preset=”default” header_level=”h2″ header_text_color=”#FFFFFF” global_colors_info=”{}”]

SBS-modified roofing systems are made up of fiberglass and polyester which create elasticity that is favored in climates with greater extremes in both Summer and Winter temperatures.

SBS added to a basic roofing sheet results in a product with greater pliability and flexibility which provides a faster “return to normal” after experiencing the various temperature extremes.

[dsm_card title=”BUR (Built-Up Roofing)” image=”https://restorationgc.net/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/bur-roof-320×240-1.jpg” badge_text=”BUILT UP ROOFING” button_url_new_window=”1″ _builder_version=”4.14.7″ _module_preset=”default” header_level=”h2″ header_text_color=”#FFFFFF” hover_enabled=”0″ global_colors_info=”{}” badge_url=”https://restorationgc.net/commercial-roofing/built-up-roofing/” link_option_url=”https://restorationgc.net/commercial-roofing/built-up-roofing/” sticky_enabled=”0″]

Commonly referred to as “tar and gravel” roofs, BUR has been used for 100+ years and is most popularly used on low-sloped commercial roofs.

A BUR system is made up of multiple layers (3-5) of roof “felts” that are bonded using asphalt or coal tar and then topped with a protective surfacing layer.

The durability and longevity of a BUR system is determined by the number of intermediary layers applied.

[dsm_card title=”Tapered Insulation Systems” image=”https://restorationgc.net/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/tapered-insulation-system-320×240-1.jpg” badge_text=”TAPERED INSULATION SYSTEMS” button_url_new_window=”1″ _builder_version=”4.14.7″ _module_preset=”default” header_level=”h2″ header_text_color=”#FFFFFF” global_colors_info=”{}”]

Tapered insulation systems create the slope that is lacking on flat roofs where proper drainage is needed to extend the life and durability the roof.

In most cases, tapered insulation systems are recommended and sometimes required for new roof construction.
